Nintendo's New Wii U Console in stores November 18th - Basic and Delux Sets

The Basic set will have 8GB of memory and includes the console, a GamePad, an HDMI cable, a sensor bar and an AC adapter. The basic set will be $299.99 in the United States.

The Deluxe set will have 32GB of internal memory and includes everything in the Basic configuration, plus a GamePad charging cradle, a stand for the GamePad and a stand for the console itself, plus a copy of Nintendo Land. The Deluxe set will be $349.99 in the United States.

GAMES

The launch day games in Europe have been confirmed as New Super Mario Bros U, Nintendo Land, FIFA 13, ZombiU, Rayman Legends, Mass Effect 3, and Call of Duty Black Ops 2. There's no definite list for the US, but we can assume it will be very similar.

The biggest surprise of the day was without a doubt Bayonetta 2, which was announced as a Wii U exclusive. Wow. Platinum Games' other Wii U title, cute superhero-strategy mashup Project P-100, was retitled The Wonderful 101.

On the multiformat side, Activision and Nintendo finally confirmed Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 for Wii U. Activision is also bringing Skylanders Giants to the party. We'll be seeing Aliens: Colonial Marines in the "launch window" as well. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will have new, Wii U exclusive content - including Nintendo costumes and power-ups. An Ultimate edition of Monster Hunter 3 will be coming to Wii U as well as 3DS from Capcom. The full line-up of Nintendo Land mini-games is also now out in the open.
Nintendo released a list of over 50 launch window games in North America and Europe - that's games released between November and the end of March. You can read the full list right here.

6 hidden Tekken Tag Tournament 2 characters discovered on disc - Slim Bob, Dr. Boskonovitch, Unknown, Violet, Miharu and Sebastion

Earlier today we were getting reports of 6 currently unannounced DLC characters being discovered after players data mined the Tekken Tag Tournament 2 disc. Flying Wonkey over on the NeoGAF forums has posted images of these newly discovered characters. This was originally reported by DarkPriest over on the Cardinal Perception forum.

The images below show off Dr. Boskonovitch (a console bonus character in Tekken 3), Slim Bob (from Bob's Tekken 6 ending), Unknown (the final boss in Tekken Tag Tournament and a transformed version of Jun), Violet (Lee's alter ego), Miharu (a friend of Xiaoyu) and Sebastion (Lili's butler).

These characters are more than likely to hit consoles as unpaid DLC based off of previous statements from Harada that downloadable characters will be free of charge. After the jump you can check out more images including their alternate panels and costumes.

Street Fighter X Tekken NEW FOOTAGE: Ken, King, Abel, Marduk, Guile & Bob Confirmed

Features

- Dream match up – Dozens of playable characters including Ryu, Ken, Guile, Able, and Chun-Li from Street Fighter as well as Kazuya, Nina, King, Marduk, and Bob from TEKKEN.

- Real-time Tag Battle – Fight as a team of two and switch between characters strategically.

- Familiar Controls – In SFxT, controls will feel familiar for fans of both series.

- Robust online modes – In addition to the online features from SSFIV, SFxT features totally upgraded online functionality and some new surprises.

Game Engine:

All characters use standard Street Fighter controls – light, medium and heavy punches along with light, medium and heavy kicks. This doesn’t change anything for the Street Fighter cast but obviously changes things for the Tekken characters, with their normals being single moves from Tekken 6.

The game itself is a 2-versus-2 tag fighter. When one character completely runs out of energy, that team will lose the round. When tagged out, characters don’t get any energy back.

LP + LK performs throw, MP + MK performs tag, HP + HK performs launcher. The launcher hits really high but has really long start-up and really bad recovery. You can cancel into the launcher but I couldn’t find anything that combed into it." - Ryan King from Play

The game will be out in 2012 on Xbox, PS3, and PC.
