WATCH The 1st Trailer for PACIFIC RIM (2013)
SYNOPSIS:
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes -- a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi) -- who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind's last hope against the mounting apocalypse. Pacific Rim is expected to release Summer 2013

Michael Bay's official website has issued the following press release confirming that Mark Wahlberg (Ted, The Fighter) has joined the cast of Transformers 4 which is set to be released on June 27th, 2014. An official logo for the film has also been revealed.
HOLLYWOOD, CA (November 8, 2012) –
After an exceptionally successful collaboration on the upcoming "Pain
and Gain," Michael Bay has cast Academy Award®-nominee Mark Wahlberg in
the highly anticipated "TRANSFORMERS 4." The film will hit theaters June 27th, 2014.
"Mark is awesome. We had a blast working on "Pain and Gain" and I’m so fired up to be back working with him. An actor of his caliber is the perfect guy to re-invigorate the franchise and carry on the Transformers’ legacy," said Bay.
Bay will direct the next installment in the "TRANSFORMERS" series, which begins shooting next spring. From Paramount Pictures, a division of Viacom, Inc., in association with Hasbro, the film will be produced by Don Murphy & Tom DeSanto, Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Ian Bryce, and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Bay, Brian Goldner and Mark Vahradian.
Bay’s first "TRANSFORMERS" film was a box office sensation in 2007, opening at #1 and earning more than $700 million worldwide. His second installment "TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN" in 2009 grossed more than $830 million worldwide. In 2011, "TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON" was an even bigger hit worldwide, grossing more than a billion dollars to become the 5th highest grossing film of all time. To date, the franchise has earned more than $2.6 billion worldwide.
From acclaimed director Michael Bay comes "Pain and Gain," a new action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie. Based on the unbelievable true story of three personal trainers in 1990s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong. Ed Harris, Tony Shalhoub, Rob Corddry, Rebel Wilson, and Bar Paly also star. The film is based on magazine articles by Pete Collins, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and produced by Donald DeLine, Michael Bay and Ian Bryce.
"PAIN AND GAIN" opens in theaters everywhere April 26th, 2013.

New Robocop (2013) Reboot Movie Photos
So yeah. Put on your Bad Idea Jeans, we’re about to delve right back into the world of the “Robocop” remake. With a summer '13 release date slotted, the film is currently shooting in Toronto, and with it comes the very first on-set pics of a sexy, sleek, futuristic robot cop formerly identified as Officer Alex Murphy.
As seen here at Coming Soon, the pics from the first day of shooting showcase a much more streamlined design, less bulky and accommodating for casual body movement. The second pic looks like that visor will be removed, and we’ll have a greater chance to see star Joel Kinnaman’s adorable punum than we did Peter Weller’s in the Paul Verhoeven original from 1987. Curious to see what the nerd reaction will be. We're expecting a lot of "Look, it's the Guyver!" but we wouldn't be surprised at most people rolling their eyes and sighing. Black is the new black.
Of course, spy pics rarely look good, and in fact the Robocop suit could possibly undergo a radical post-production CGI revision. These might even be preliminary suits -- who's to say Robocop won't have a mid-film tech upgrade? Though the suit would look good under a Hawaiian shirt. Photosoppers, get on that.
"Robocop," nonetheless, has a sterling cast that includes Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Abbie Cornish, Jackie Earle Haley and Michael K. Williams. You'll buy that for a dollar, in 3D, August 9th, 2013.

Amy Adams is Lois Lane in New Superman Film 2012
Director Zack Snyder remarked, "Second only to Superman himself, the question of who will play Lois Lane is arguably what fans have been most curious about. So we are excited to announce the casting of Amy Adams, one of the most versatile and respected actresses in films today. Amy has the talent to capture all of the qualities we love about Lois: smart, tough, funny, warm, ambitious and, of course, beautiful."
Amy Adams will star opposite Henry Cavill, who plays the new Clark Kent/Superman in the film. The main cast also includes Diane Lane and Kevin Costner, as Martha and Jonathan Kent.
I personally never seen her work. But her acting background seems legit. Better than the last Lois Lane.

Sucker Punch Movie Reviews [VIDEO]
IGN.com
RottenTomatoes.com ::: Tomatometer 22%
"It's technically impressive and loaded with eye-catching images, but without characters or a plot to support them, all of Sucker Punch's visual thrills are for naught."
"An indecipherable, hypocritical mess that proves you can fill a movie with scantily-clad women with big guns and it can still bore one to tears." -Richard Roeper RichardRoeper.com
"Sucker Punch is what happens when a studio gives carte blanche to a filmmaker who has absolutely nothing original or even coherent to say."
- Lou Lumenick New York Post
Guess the movie sucks.

Clash Of The Titans 2 (Wrath Of The Titans) FIRST Movie Plot Details : Spoiler Alert
Warner Bros. issued a press release pertaining to the CLASH OF THE TITANS sequel, directed by Jonathan Liebesman:
"A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus—the demigod son of Zeus—is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius.
Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon.
The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld.
Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus’ godly son, Ares (Edgar RamÃrez), switch loyalty and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans’ strength grows stronger as Zeus’ remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth.
Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon’s demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind."
I loved the original Clash of the Titans. The 2010 remake sucked major. I'm sure this will suck too, but we'll see.
